Queenslanders Stay Strong In Spite Of Tropical Cyclone Yasi 2011 Northern Queenslanders Survive
Recently launched Cyclone Yasi 2011 website provides the latest videos and home footage of the destruction that Tropical Cyclone Yasi brought. This Category 5 Cyclone was found less than a week ago off the north east coast of Australia heading towards Northern Queensland.
No one knew exactly where this 500km+ wide cyclone was going to hit, and as we woke to the news this morning it was Mission Beach that was hit first. The effects of this disaster will be found in all affected towns for the next few months with house roofs ripped apart, water flooding into homes carried by the huge storm surge and structural damage on large buildings.
The team at Website Promotion send our wishes to all people who went through this horrific tropical storm and we are sure Cyclone Yasi will be remembered for the damage it brought to Cairns, Townsville, Ingham, Innisfail, Mission Beach and many other surrounding towns.
